Educação Especial Bilíngüe Inclusiva

Resources in bilingual special education is scarce. For this reason, I would like to share some of the resources that I learned while taking online courses in Bilingual Special Education at The George Washington University, Washington, DC. As far as I know in the U.S., there are only a few programs and I believe this one is the most well-known. If you are interested, check their website because the program accepts people from all over the world.

There are 3 books that were very useful throughout this school year because I had 5 students qualified with learning disability and one autistic child in inclusive setting.

Assessment in Special Education by R. Pierangelo and G. Giuliani

Teaching Students with Special Needs in Inclusive Settings by T. Smith, E. Polloway, J. Patton and C. Dowdy

The Bilingual Special Education Interface by L. Baca and H. Cervantes.
