The Magic Tree House by Mary Pope Osborne
The Magic Tree House is a great series for readers in levels L-M (Fountas and Pinnell) because there is adventure, suspense, and humor. This series is about Jack and his little sister Annie ‘s adventure when they go inside a magic tree house that take them to assorted places in different times of history. In my class, my below grade level readers really enjoy them. The best thing of all, as a teacher, I can keep track of what they are reading and be stress free.
